What The Law of Attraction Gurus Aren’t Telling You
1. Myth #1: “Just Think Positively, and It Will Happen”
Positive thinking has its place, but it’s not a magic wand. If you’re repeating affirmations but deep down you don’t believe they’re true, your subconscious mind will override them every time.
When I first started manifesting, I was doing all the “right” things—vision boards, gratitude lists, affirmations—but my results were hit or miss. I manifested a loving partner, a beautiful family, vibrant health… but money? That felt stuck.
Turns out, I had an old belief from childhood that told me money was hard to come by, and wanting more meant I was greedy. That belief wasn’t obvious—it was subtle, but powerful. And no amount of positive thinking could erase it until I acknowledged it and worked to reprogram it.
What works instead:
Pair your affirmations with inner work. When a positive statement feels “off,” ask yourself why. Write down the belief that comes up, and work on shifting it into something more aligned and believable.

2. Myth #2: “You Don’t Have to Take Action—Just Align Your Energy”
Yes, your energy is powerful. But sitting on your couch and visualizing a six-figure business won’t make it magically appear. The Universe responds to aligned action.
Manifestation is a co-creation. You show up in faith, and the Universe meets you halfway. When you ask yourself, “What would my future self be doing right now?”—you’re tuning in to your next aligned step.
What works instead:
Visualize, feel, and take inspired action. Even small steps build momentum and signal to the Universe that you’re serious about your desires.
Myth #3: “If It’s Hard, It’s Not Meant for You”
This one breaks my heart because it causes so many people to give up on their dreams.
Growth can be uncomfortable. That doesn’t mean your manifestation isn’t aligned—it just means there’s healing or expansion required. If you’re bumping up against resistance, you’re also bumping up against transformation.
What works instead:
Reframe resistance. Instead of seeing it as a red light, see it as a growth cue. Ask, “What is this challenge teaching me?” Manifestation is as much about becoming as it is about receiving.

4. Myth #4: “If You Have Doubt, You’re Ruining Your Manifestation”
Let’s bust this one wide open: Doubt is normal.
You are human. You will have moments of fear, worry, or second-guessing. The key is not to suppress those emotions, but to get curious about them.
In fact, doubt can be a doorway. It shows you what needs healing or attention. It reveals the limiting beliefs you might not have noticed otherwise.
What works instead:
Talk to your doubt. Ask it: “What are you here to show me?” Use it as a compass pointing toward deeper alignment.
5. Myth #5: “Once You Manifest Something, It’s Yours Forever”
This myth overlooks the fact that manifestation is an ongoing energetic process. You don’t just manifest something once and forget about it.
Energy is dynamic. If you manifest a partner, a new job, or financial flow—but slip back into old patterns or fear-based thinking—you can unconsciously push those manifestations away.
What works instead:
Stay in daily alignment. This doesn’t mean being perfect—it means checking in with yourself, nurturing your beliefs, and tending to your energy. Think of manifestation like tending a garden—it needs consistent love and care.
