Try This 14-Minute Yoga Reset

Does your energy seem to disappear halfway through the day?

You’re not alone. Many of us experience an afternoon slump, especially if we’ve been sitting at a desk, staring at screens, or juggling responsibilities since early morning. Our bodies become stiff, our minds lose focus, and suddenly even simple tasks feel like they take twice as much effort.

While it’s tempting to pour another cup of coffee, sometimes what your body is really asking for is movement.

That’s exactly why I created this new 14-minute yoga practice.

This quick sequence is designed to gently wake up your body, improve circulation, release built-up tension, and help you reconnect with your breath. You don’t need to work up a sweat or be an experienced yogi. Just a few intentional movements can help you feel more alert, more focused, and ready to finish your day with a little more ease.

If you’re trying to build more energy in midlife, remember that it’s rarely one dramatic change that makes the difference. Energy is often built through small, consistent habits that support your body throughout the day.

Think of this practice as one of those tiny habits.

Roll out your mat, take a few deep breaths, and give yourself permission to pause. Your afternoon—and your body—will thank you.
